Important General Instructions
  1. Application deadline is 11:59pm, Thursday 15 December 2022 for the Computer Coding Games and the Robotics Showcase. Application deadline for the Math Olympiads has been moved to 11:59 pm, Saturday 31 December 2022.
  2. A complete application consists of the BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION FORM (CSO-Form-1) and at least one section of the EVENTS PARTICIPATION FORM (CSO-Form-2).
  3. All applicants must first fill out and submit the BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION FORM (CSO-Form-1).
  4. To participate in one or more Events, your team manager must fill out the appropriate section(s) of the EVENTS PARTICIPATION FORM (CSO-Form-2). Team applications for events will be rejected if all members of the team have not filled out the Biographic Information Form
  5. For all the Events offered (Math Olympiad, Coding Games and Robotics Showcase) each school, community college or university will be allowed to enter only one team per age range per Event. For the Math Olympiads, the maximum number of students per team is 3. For the Coding Games and the Robotics Showcase, the maximun number or persons per team is 5. An individual entrant to an Event will be treated as a team consisting of one participant.
  6. Clicking the SAVE button on the application forms does not result in the submission of your application. It only saves the current state of the form. You must keep going until you reach the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the “Review” page.
  7. Applicants can find the Coding and Robotics applications in sections 2 and 3 by navigating 'next' at the bottom of the page.

SECTION I – Math Olympiad Application Form

The Math Olympiad is an annual STEM event in the form of a competition where teams compete to solve math problems in a limited time frame in front of an engaging and enthusiastic audience. Three events being offered are: a Level I competition for students 12 to 15 years of age, a level II competition for students 16-18 years of age, and a Level III competition for students 19-21 years old. Each school, community college, university, club or association will be allowed to enter only one team per age range with a maximum of 3 students per team. An individual entrant will be treated as a team with one participant.

The Math Olympiads are offered virtually, except for the Barbados event which will be offered in person. The Barbados event will be offered in collaboration with the Barbados Ministry of industry, Innovation, Science and Technology. It is open to Barbadian participants only and will take place at a different time than the virtual event for the other countries.
IMPORTANT: Only one application per team per level is to be submitted. However all team members must fill out the biographic information form (CSO-Form-1).

2023 Level I topics are: Level I topics are: Elementary geometry, consumer arithmetic, number concepts and fractions and decimals, statistics and probability

2023 Level II Topics are: Algebra, coordinate geometry, introductory trigonometry, vectors, series and sequences, logarithms, and exponentials, calculus

2023 Level III Topics are: Series, Euclidean geometry and trigonometry, calculus, probability, matrices, complex numbers, and differential equations
