Database of STEM Professionals
CADSTI maintains a database of Caribbean science, technology and business professionals. It is intended for this database to be a resource useful to governments, industries, universities, other institutions and, in general, the people of the Caribbean.
CADSTI and the CSF are often asked to help provide solutions to technical and policy problems in the Region and the Diaspora. It does so by recommending members in its database as consultants for these opportunities. In the case where the consultant charges a fee for his/her services, the consultant is expected to (but not obliged to) make a contribution to the work of the CSF. Such contributions are part of the sustainability mechanism of the CSF.
If you want to be listed in the Database of STEM Professionals, please fill out and submit the form found HERE. CADSTI will keep your detailed biographic information on file but will display only basic information publicly, if necessary. If you want no information at all displayed, please check the appropriate security box at the end of the application form.
Caribbean STEM Summit
Further, please be advised that the CSF will be hosting the annual Caribbean STEM Summit (CSS) on 26-28 June 2026 (see https://caribbeanscience.org/stem-summit). The CSS is an information-sharing, collaboration and brainstorming platform that brings together Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) researchers from academia and industry, product development experts, entrepreneurs, investors, students, educators, government officials, policymakers, and other leaders and experts from the Region and the Diaspora to stimulate technology company formation. The inaugural CSS will be held in a hybrid mode with some in-person events in Barbados, but all events will be available for virtual participation on the Zoom platform.
The CSS bridges the wide gap between STEM education and economic development in the Caribbean. The events of the CSS will feature high-impact technology research and development presentations, networking opportunities, and the exchange of technical and business information, along with a business-pitching session for entrepreneurs and invited funding agencies. It will serve as a catalyst to provide a pathway for STEM talent and entrepreneurship to come together with sources of funding for new company formation.
If you are a professional in the Region or the Diaspora engaged in cutting-edge science, technology, engineering or business fields and looking for a way to contribute to the Caribbean region, please fill out the CSS Registration Form found within https://caribbeanscience.org/stem-summit so you can attend the Summit. You may also want to consider submitting an abstract of a paper based on your cutting-edge research for possible presentation at the Summit. Or, if you are an entrepreneur looking for funding for your STEM-based business you may want to consider submitting an executive summary of your business plan to possibly pitch it in front of investors and funding agencies at the CSS. If you are simply only interested in observing the CSS, all you need to do is to fill out Sec. 1 of the Summit Registration Form.
The annual CSS is expected to serve as a premier gathering venue for Caribbean nationals and global collaborators who are leading groundbreaking research, pursuing real-world applications of STEM, financing STEM companies, and engaging in STEM education reform. By creating a recurring platform for knowledge exchange, mentorship, and entrepreneurial growth, the CSS will help to build a vibrant, self-sustaining STEM community that will drive the Caribbean’s development for decades to come and reposition the Caribbean as a hub for STEM-driven innovation and economic growth.
