FOR STUDENTS
2 Minute Video Overview of SPISE:
To be eligible to apply to SPISE, students must be:
(1) At least age 16 but less than age 18 on April 1, 2026 AND
(2) Citizens or permanent residents of the English-speaking Caribbean (excluding U.S. territories) or Bermuda, and have been enrolled in a high school within the Caribbean or Bermuda for the past 4 years. (Note: applicants from the Dutch, French and Spanish-speaking Caribbean countries may be considered on a case-by-case basis.)

Students applying to the program will need to:

Fill out the student application form on-line here SPISE 2026 APPLICATION FORM and provide all of the supporting materials requested (see application form). If you encounter any challenges in filling out the application form, then send an email to applications.csf@gmail.com with “SPISE 2026 Application Assistance” in the subject line and a description and screen shot of the issue as well as your first and last name in the email.

Request 2 recommendations, using the request for recommendation document available here SPISE 2026 Request for Recommendation which contains guidance for the recommender and a link to the Google recommendation form. The recommendations must be submitted by: (a) a current or recent (within last 2-3 years) Math Teacher, and (b) a current or recent (within last 2-3 years) Science Teacher. The Science Teacher recommendation must be from a biology, physics or chemistry teacher, not a computer science or IT teacher.
FOR TEACHING ASSISTANTS
The application period for SPISE 2026 Teaching Assistants (TAs) is now open! TAs are expected to be familiar with the details of the program, and, therefore, before applying, should review the webpage SPISE Overview, and read “What SPISE Teaching Assistants should know” (at the end of the application form). Application forms for SPISE TAs are provided below in WORD (for electronic completion) and PDF formats.
